Autumn in London | A Visit to the Rare Books Fair, John Sandoe Bookstore and the Highgate Cemetery

I hope you all are doing well and stay healthy.

I am sharing this little video of London during late autumn months. In the last few weeks I visited the Rare Books Fair held at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, and while in Chelsea I went to see one of my favourite bookstore in London called John Sandoe Books Ltd where I bought a few books including a great collection of essays by Andre Aciman called Homo Irrealis. I highly recommend you a visit to this wonderful bookstore – there are plethora of bookish treasures you can find there.

I included all these little adventures of mine in this short video. I hope this recording will show you a slice of London a little bit especially if you live far away and might not have the chance to visit this city.

I also went to visit the West Highgate Cemetery, one of my favourite places to visit in autumn. A few years back I posted about my visit to this unique cemetery where I included many pictures – you can find this post here. I always find visits to the old gothic cemeteries extremely calming and comforting.

On my way back home I went to see the Christmas Tree made of books which is on display at St Pancras International station.

I will be posting new book reviews shortly.

Wishing you a very peaceful December.

Hugs ❤️🤍❤️🤍
